AMFA cautions against participating in unapproved trials

Imphal, December 26 2024: All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has issued an advisory urging parents to refrain from permitting their children to participate in trials allegedly conducted under the name of Bangalore FC by unauthorised individuals.

In a memorandum dated December 22, 2024, AMFA, citing a reliable source, stated that unauthorised individuals are conducting trials under the name of Bangalore FC at the PAMYAL Ground in Imphal West district.

These activities are being carried out without obtaining the necessary approval from AMFA, and Bangalore FC has not sought permission to hold such trials.

AMFA then advised parents not to allow their children to attend such "unauthorised trials", adding that the association will not be held accountable for "future controversies" arising from such events.

The memo also reminded stakeholders of prior notifications issued by AMFA, prohibiting unauthorised trials in Manipur.
