Imphal, January 07 2025: AMIMYDO (Mayang Imphal) emerges as the champions of the 1st State Level Junior Open Volleyball Tournament, organised by Sekmaijin Khunou Youth Club (SKYC) under the aegis of All Manipur Volleyball Association (AMVA).

AMIMYDO secured a commanding victory over SVC (Santhel) in the final of the tournament held at Sekmaijin Khunou on Tuesday.

The team dominated the match with a straightset win, concluding with scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 27-17 .

The tournament, which drew seven teams, began on January 2, 2025.The closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by Dr Elangbam Amitkumar, proprietor Lamyanba Enterprises as chief guest, and Sorolhaobam Iboposhak, former SKYC general secretary, Okram Chandramani, former SKYC president, and Konthoujam Inomcha, former Sekmaijin GP Pradhan, as guests of honour.
