7-Star, MMFA win in Maipakpi Memorial Trophy

Imphal, April 29 2025: 7-Star and MMFA registered contrasting victories, while Rabi Jewellery and Khurai FC shared the spoils in the 3rd Maipakpi Memorial Trophy 2025 at City Club, Heirok Litan Makhong, on Tuesday.

7-Star delivered a dominant performance, thrashing Sur Hospital 6-0 in a one-sided affair.

Adison, Chingkhei, Krishnanda, John, Kh Arun, and S Johnson all found the net, ensuring a resounding win for their side.

Meanwhile, MMFA staged a spirited comeback to overcome RSFC 2-1 .

David opened the scoring for RSFC in the 12th minute, but Mocha Irom restored parity for MMFA in the 35th minute.

The turnaround was completed just five minutes later when M Berlin struck the decisive goal, securing all three points for his team.

In the day's other fixture, Rabi Jewellery and Khurai FC battled to a 1-1 draw.

Leisem-ba broke the deadlock for Rabi Jewellery in the 38th minute, but Ranjan levelled for Khurai FC ten minutes after the restart, ensuring the points were split.
