Bishnupur, July 07 2025: Under the aegis of Athletic Association of Manipur, a 21 km-long 1st Kumam Nipamacha Singh Men's Open Memorial Half Marathon 2025 will be jointly organised by KN Singh Athletic Academy, Moirang and Kumam Youth Club, Moirang on July 20 .

Addressing the media at Academy's office on Monday, president Kumam Sony stated that following the footsteps of the Academy's founder international veteran athlete (late) Kumam Nipamacha's vision to promote athletics, the half marathon is being organised under the theme 'Run for Sports Legacy' .

Informing that interested athletes can contact mobile numbers-7005103491, 8787828476 and 9233833020 for detail information, he said that the half marathon carries prize money of Rs 50,000 and certificate for the winner, Rs 30,000 and certificate for second position, Rs 20,000 and certificate for third position and Rs 2000 and certificate each for fourth to tenth position winners.

Sony further stated that entry forms are available on both online and offline mode with entry fee of Rs 200, to be submitted via online mode by July 18 .
