PSO sports meet cum football tourney kicks off

Thoubal, July 28 2024: The State Level Ema Sara Bibi Memorial Sports Meet Cum Football Tournament 2024, organised by Pangal Students' Organisation (PSO) Manipur, got underway at Lilong Haoreibi College ground on Sunday.

The opening ceremony was attended by MSPDCL superintending engineer Er Mohd Riyajuddin Khan, Lilong Haoreibi College principal Md Abdul Satar, Lilong PS OC inspector N Subash Singh, DI Lilong Ksh Bish-wajit Singh, Al-Hayat Lilong proprietor Alhaj Mohd Ayub Khan, AMUCO president Ph Nando Luwang, Alumni Association Lilong Haoreibi College president Md Nadir Khan (Imam) and PSO president Farid Bogimayum.

In the opening day's marathon race, Manoubi Singh, Konthoujam Somorjit Singh and Mutum Mukta Singh secured first, second and third positions.

A total of 40 teams will compete in the Sports Meet's 6-a-side Football Tournament.
