Eight-member state kickboxing squad named for national event

Imphal, June 14 2025: The United Association of Kickboxing Organization Manipur (UAKOM) has announced an eight-member team to represent the state at the upcoming Senior & Master (Men/Women) National Kickboxing Championship, scheduled to be held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, from July 16 to 20, 2025 .

The men's team features Y Thoisana Singh (K1, 60kg), S Tondonba Meetei (LK, 60kg), S Deva (FC, 67 Kg), A Haridash Meitei (LK, 54kg), and Bhupen Mutum (K1, 63kg) .

On the women's side, the squad comprises Y Lasmi Devi (PF, KL, LC, -45kg), M Yaifabi Chanu (PF, KL, LC, 50kg), and Th Omila Chanu (PF, KL, LC, 40kg).The team will be led by coach Morangthem Chaningkhombi Chanu, with Khangembam Basanta Singh serving as the referee.
