State team leaves for AITWPF Federation Cup

Imphal, May 09 2022: Manipur's team members and officials on Monday left Imphal for Chhattisgarh to take part in the CM Trophy 1st AITWPF Federation Cup, National Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Championship 2022, which will be held from May 12 to 15.The state team was flagged off from the Khuman Lampak Complex by AMUCO president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang, multiple medallist weightlifter Monica, AMUCO general secretary & All Manipur Traditional Belt Wrestling Association (AMT-BWA) president Dr Norendro Thokchom, AMTBWA general secretary Chongtham Ibohal, chief technical director Thoudam Udoichand and judo coach Khaidem Gunamani.

The team was accompanied by team manager T Rishikanta Sharma and coach Laishram Gokulchandra along with other officials, a release said.
