Lewa beat Andro in YDC volleyball final

Thoubal, July 28 2024: Lewa Lamding beat Andro (A) to win the Thoubal District Inter-Village Volleyball Tournament 2024 organised by Youth Development Committee, Khoirom.

Lewa Lamding defeated Andro (A) 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 in their summit clash on Sunday.

The Lamding team received Rs 15,000 in prize money while Andro (A) got Rs 10,000.Lewa Lamding's Ibobi claimed the best player award, Andro's Ibochao took the best striker award, Lewa Lamding's Sanayaima got the best lifter award and YDC's Khomei earned the best lebero award.

The closing ceremony was attended by Thoubal Zilla Parishad adakshya Kh Sobha, Leirongthel-Ningel Gram Panchayat pradhan Salam Kumar, YDC president Haobam Jiten, social worker Keisham Raju and local leaders.
