7 bodybuilding competitions lined up from July 20

Imphal, May 26 2025: As many as 7 bodybuilding competitions including 11th Mr Khamba Inter District and State Level Competition dedicated to the martyrs of Manipur on the occasion of Patriots' Day on August 13 have been lined up by the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA).

Starting from July 20, various district associations will be hosting district level competitions under the aegis of the AMBBA.

Kakching District Body Builders Association will host its district level competition on July 20 before Bishnupur District Body Builders Association organise a similar event on July 27 .

Body Builder Association of Thoubal will host thoubal district competition on August 3 before Imphal East District Body Builders Association, Body Builders Association of Ukhrul District and Body Builders Association of Imphal West District host their district level competitions respectively on August 9, August 10, August 11 before 11th Mr Khamba to be organised by the Kakching association in collaboration with the AMBBA.

Athletes who did not participate in their respective district level competitions will not be allowed to compete in the Inter District Championship - "Mr Khamba", said AMBBA in a press release.
