Hockey: KHSC, MPSC-A cruise in 2nd UNACCO Cup

Imphal, May 25 2025: KHSC (Khongman) and MPSC-A enjoyed easy wins in the 2nd UNACCO Cup, a state-level nine-a-side men's open hockey tournament, on Sunday at SEYO Astro Turf Hockey Stadium, Akampat.

KHSC began the day's action with a 10-0 demolition of KCDO, showcasing their attacking prowess.

Karan Kumar spearheaded the rout with a hat-trick(l', 5', 33'), while Bishnu added a brace (3', 22').Further goals came from Samir (14'), Harish (19'), Paikhomba (42'), and Naokhomba (48') to complete a comprehensive victory.

Meanwhile, MPSC-A cruised to a 7-2 win against MEIRA (Bashikhong).

Aclinical hat-trick from S Suresh, a double from P Priyokumar, and strikes from L Dipu and Ksh Wangamba sealed their emphatic triumph.

Sachin managed a consolation brace for MEIRA, but it proved insufficient against MPSC-A's relentless attack.
