Imphal, September 17 2024: Keisham Bikash scored four goals on the trot as Manipur overwhelmed Gujarat by 8-0 goals in the second Group B match of the ongoing Sub-Junior Boys' National Football Championship Tier-I yesterday at Bangalore Football Stadium.

It was the second straight win for Manipur as the State lads pulled off a 4-1 win over Kerala in the group opening match.

Laishram Mahesh scored a treble in this one sided match.

Laishram Mahesh kept forward his momentum yesterday by scoring the opening goal against Gujarat after 8 minutes before Dennison Pukhrambam doubled the advantage in the 26th minute.

Star of the day, Keisham Bikash found his first and team's third in the 29th minute to make it 3-0 at halftime.

Bikash picked up the game from where he left and banged home three goals back to back in the 52nd, 60th and 62nd minutes to make it 6-0 before Susan Waikhom (75') and Sapam Sarjit (85') took their turns to complete the 8-0 rout of Gujarat.

Manipur will play Jharkhand in tne ultimate Group match tomorrow from 7 am at the same stadium.
