MAKKA names State team for KIO National Karate Championship

The Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association (MAKKA) has named athletes who will be representing Manipur at the KIO National Karate Championship 2025 for Sub-Junior, Cadet and Junior categories beginning from June 15 in Dehradun.
The athletes who were named for the championship include Vareso Muivah of NSKF (7 years Kumite: -25 kg male), Laipubam Leedra Sharma of ISKF (8 years Kumite : -25 kg), Thokchom Yaiphaba of KANGLEISHA (10 years Kumite : -30 kg), Thiyam Sinthoiba of ISKF (11 years Kumite and Kata : -45 kg), Nongthombam Telheiba of KANGLEISHA (11 years Kumite : -35 kg), Pratik Dahal of ISKF (12 years Kata and Kumite: -45 kg), Kakchingtabam Nirvan of ISKF (12 Years Kumite and Kata: -35 kg), Pf Arif Khan of TSKA (12 years Kumite: -40 kg), Laishram Manithoiba of KANGLEISHA (12 years Kumite: +50 kg), Chingakham Dumbaraj of KANGLEISHA (13 years Kumite: -45 kg), Laishram Maninganba of KANGLEISHA (13 years Kumite: -50 kg male), Sanasam Yaiphaba of KANGLEISHA (13 years Kumite: -55 kg), Soram Lannganbi of ISKF (10 years Female Kata and Kumite: -40 kg), Longjam Laena of KANGLEISHA (10 years Female Kata and Kumite: -30 kg), Huiningshumbam Victoria of KANGLEISHA (10 years Female Kumite : -35 kg), Yaithoinganbi Takhellambam of KANGLEISHA (11 years Female Kumite: -35 kg), Laipubam Hesita Devi of ISKF (11 years Female Kumite: -40 kg), Khuraijam Linthoi of KANGLEISHA (11 years Female Kumite and Kata : -45 kg), Nandeibam Joshi of ISKF (12 years Kumite : -45 kg), Khumukcham Lingjel of SAI-STC (13 years Female Kumite : -50 kg), W Lucky of SAI-STC (Cadet Female Kumite: -42 kg), Longjam Leoni of KANGLEISHA (Cadet Female Individual Kata and Kumite: 54 kg), K Nancy of SAI-STC (Cadet Female Kumite -47 kg) and Phundreimayum Awes Allam of TSKA (Junior Male Kumite : +76 kg) .
The team will be led by coaches Soibam Chandrima, Soram Chinglen Luwang and Shingamning Marzah.
The State team will leave Imphal on June 10 and return on June 17, said MAKKA in a statement.
