Riding on Kenedy's all round performance Champ, Khagempalli crushed FCA by 185 runs in the MCA U-16 cricket tournament at Langthabal ground today.
After cracking a 42-ball 62, Kenedy rattled the rival side claiming four FCA scalps to eventually bag the man of the match award.
Replying to Champ's mammoth 263 from 34-4 overs, FCA could manage only 78 runs as Kenedy, Alai (3 wkts) and Boba (2) skittled out all the rival batsmen in the 25th over of the 35 over game.
YAC, Yaiskul and REYS, Nagamapal will play tomorrow.
In the U-22 MCA tournament at THAU ground, Model Club, Chingamakha defeated YWC, Langthabal by 38 runs with Priyobarta of the winning side declared man of the match for his knock of 68 runs off 79 deliveries.
Batting first on winning the toss, Model Club posted 165 runs while the opponent scored 127.Cyclone will take on CRAU tomorrow.
On the otherhand, UCC crushed THAU by 154 runs in the under-16 competition of the MCA tourney played today at the Oriental College and Model Higher Secondary School ground.
Chasing UCC's total of 254 for 9, all the THAU batsmen returned to the dressing room with only 100 on the score board.
