Imphal, February 20 2019: This year's Class X examination conducted by BOSEM, started from today with a total of 37, 323 students appearing for the exam at 139 centres in various parts of the State.

However, on the beginning day of the exam itself, a Supervising Invigilator (SI) at Wangbal Junior High School, was suspended after he photographed the English paper during the exam and sent/circulated it through Whatsapp.

The Director of Education (S) Th Kirankumar also issued an order in connection with the suspension of the teacher who is identified as Akoijam Mukta Singh (EIN-080777) .

As per the order, the teacher was suspended under Sub rule (1) of Rule 10 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 1965.The order also mentioned that during the period of suspension, the teacher cannot leave the headquarters without obtaining prior permission of the Department.

On the other hand, four individuals were reportedly expelled from Ideal High School, Pallel, for impersonation during the exam.
