Imphal, April 13 2025: Sanamahi Lainingkon Sanglen (Sanakon) has urged people of the faith to identify themselves as followers of Sanamahi in census carried out in the State.

Sanamahism must be preserved and promoted.

It should be identified as a religion in any census carried out in the State, it said in a statement.

It further appreciated social worker, Nungleppam Mahananda, of Uripok Bachaspati Leikai, for donating land for construction of a Sanamahi Temple.
