Meet on biometric survey held

Imphal, July 08 2013: A high-level official meeting was convened at the Chief Minister's Secretariat today to discuss the progress of biometric survey in the State.

The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi and it was attended by officials of Census Directorate and other high ranking officials of State Government.

The details of biometric survey conducted in all districts were presented by the officials to Chief Minister during the meeting.

Chief Minister Ibobi has strictly instructed the officials to expedite the pending works of the survey.

It may be mentioned that the State Cabinet had earlier resolved to expedite biometric survey in the State.
