Army celebrates Diwali, donates relief items

Imphal, November 14 2023:
Red Shield Division of Indian Army celebrated Diwali at Mangkot Chepuin Ukhrul district as well as at Leimakhong and Moirangpurel.
In a release, PIB Defence also informed that the Army provided basic and necessary relief materials including blankets and cooking utensils to inmates of the relief camp set up at Naodakhong and Old Mini-Secretariat Complex, near Loukoipat of Bishnupur district on November 13.During the programme, Army personnel also interacted with locals, inmates and administrators of Naodakhong relief camp in order to ascertain problems faced and to plan for further support.
