So, some students wrote in their own districts.
The students from Chandel district and hill districts appeared the exam at the district headquarters.
However, the results of students who appeared the exam in the hill districts have not been not announced till date, M Ngaranmi lamented, while adding that some of them are conditionally admitted in institutions even outside the state.
He pointed out that end semester exams are to be held in coming December, but as results have not been not declared, the students were admitted without marksheet, migration certificate and other related certificates and now they will not be allowed to write the exams, and their admissions likely will be cancelled.
The Unfortunate students in the hill districts are suffering and felt neglected, condemned the NPUI president.
Tribal students reported that till November 7, the unevaluated answer scripts were laying in the examination hall of the university.
They have not been distributed to the evaluators, even after three-and-half months.
It is a tragedy, a crime and discrimination against the tribals, he denounced, while urging for immediate action in public interest.
