Imphal, November 15 2024: James Heigrujam has been conferred with the first Irom Nabakanta Memorial Award by Irom Nabakanta Singh Memorial Trust during the 54th foundation day celebration of Leimayol Arts Centre, Chingamakha on Friday.

The award handed over by RD and PR minister Yumnam Khemchand included cash prize of Rs 10,000, citation, certificate, shawl and a stole.

Speaking at the programme, Trust president Irom Pradeep informed that the award has been conferred to James Heigrujam in recognition of his contribution as an artiste, humanitarian efforts and service rendered by him through Diamond TV and Wahong Radio.
