Imphal, July 06 2011: Discovering the transportation of banned drugs, troops of 31 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) launched operation in general area Khudengthabi on 05 July 2011 at around 04:30pm and intercepted a drug peddler while traveling from Imphal to Moreh in a TATA SUMO Regd MN 06L-2740.The apprehendee was identified as Nimai Singh, 35 yrs, s/o Ibohal Singh, r/o village Oripok, PO Lampel, Dist Imphal West.

11 kgs (41,000 Nos) x Banned Pseudoephedrine Tablets and Indian currency Rs.170/- were recovered from the apprehendee who alongwith recoveries was handed over to Narcotic Bureau (NCB), Imphal.
