AR opens computer cell at Lungkao village

Imphal, January 30 2024:
Along with opening a computer cell at Lungkao village which is the birthplace of freedom fighter Rani Gaidinliu, basic trainings on computers commenced under the aegis of Assam Rifles.
According to a release from AR, the computer cell was established in commemoration of the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Rani Gaidinliu.
Assam Rifles also launched three months' basic computer course for 45 students of Lungkao, the birthplace of Rani Gaidinliu.
This programme for the students was to celebrate her honourable legacy and to pay tribute to her great contribution to the nation, it said.
