RIMS Graduation Day held

The Graduation Day, Rites of Passage Ceremony of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) was held at the institute's Jubilee Hall, here, on Tuesday.
Speaking as chief guest of the function, MU vice chancellor Prof N Lokendro described Graduation Day as one of the cherished events for those who have stepped into the profession of healthcare and advised the students to treasure roles and contributions of their teachers, parents and others in enabling them to reach thus far.
He also appealed to the medical graduates to treat their patients with love and respect.
Since education is a never-ending process, the students should pursue their academic career, research and specialisation.
Presided over by RIMS director Prof G Sunil Sharma, the function was also attended by RIMS dean (Academic) Brogen Akoijam, medical superintendent Prof N Sanjib, RIMS Dental College principal Prof B Praveen Reddy, RIMS College of Nursing principal Prof H Jamuna and organising committee chairperson Prof Th Meera members on the dais.
