Imphal, April 17: After the protest sittings staged at Keishampat junction on April 15 and at Bishnupur Bazar yesterday, members of Manipur Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats staged their third protest sitting at Mayang Imphal Bazar today against the monetary demands of UG groups.

A press release issued by the All Manipur Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat Councillors' Joint Act Committee further informed that similar protest sitting would be staged tomorrow at Thoubal followed by another in front of the Lamlai Nagar Panchayat office on the next day.
