Judo pioneer K Chandra remembered

Imphal, May 26 2025: The death anniversary of Kangjam Chandra Singh, who is considered the judo pioneer in Manipur as well as in the North East region, was observed by his family members at Brave Boys Association (BBA), Mayang Imphal IB road on Monday.

As part of the observance, the family felicitated judo players of the Association apart from hosting a feast for the players.

Attending the solemn event, BBA president Y Dijen Singh and coach A Surjit Meitei expressed gratitude to Chandra's family members for honouring the judokas.
