MUTSU boycotts MUSU elections

Imphal, May 18: Standing firm unmoved on its stand, Manipur University Tribal Students' Union (MUTSU) will boycott the ensuing Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) elections scheduled for May 19, said a press release.

MUTSU asked the tribal students not enter the University campus on the election day.

However, volunteers and students having exams on the day will be exempted, added the release.

It may be mentioned that no tribal student had filed nomination for the said election.
