Guv, CM greet on Mahavir Jayanti

Imphal, April 17: Governor Dr SS Sidhu and Chief Minister O Ibobi have greeted the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Lord Mahavir Jayanti which falls tomorrow.

In his greeting, the Governor stated that all should pledge on this occasion to follow the eternal message of Lord Mahavir for peaceful co-existence of mankind as a whole, sinking differences of caste, creed, religion and work unitedly for more prosperous and peaceful human society.

The Chief Minister, in his message, prayed "May the Almighty bless us to create a culture of peace, justice and communal harmony among all the people of Manipur".
