Imphal, January 24 2025: Drugs valued at Rs 20.62 crore seized by Customs (Preventive) Division, Imphal have been disposed of today.

The narcotic and psychotropic substances disposed of today included 41.45 Kgs of Amphetamine/Methamphetamine, 2076 grams of heroin powder and 175 grams of brown sugar.

According to a press release issued by the Customs Division, Imphal, the drugs were destroyed completely by burning at the Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility (Incineration), Shija Hospital and Research Institute at Lamdeng at 4 pm .
