Jiribam, June 08 2025: Arambai Tenggol volunteers and Meira Paibis rounded up at least two alleged drug users from the Kuki community at Jiribam Lamkhai today at around 12 noon, reports JNN .

They have been identified as Paojajin Singson and Thangneo Singson, both residents of Phaitoul Village under Tousem Sub Division in Tamenglong.

It is alleged that the two individuals were trying to smuggle drugs from Jirighat in Cachar, Assam, to their village through Jiribam Lamkhai.

The individuals have been handed over to Jiri police.
