Imphal, June 01 2025: In view of the incessant rain and flood prevalent in certain districts of the State, the Government has extended the summer holidays for Government, Government aided and private schools in Imphal East, Imphal West and Senapati sub-division of Senapati district until further orders.

Secretary, Education (S) N Praveen issued an order to this effect today.

It also directed Deputy Commissioners to decide whether schools under their respective jurisdiction should remain closed or opened based on daily assessment of the situation.
