Bishnupur, May 31 2025: As a part of the Ibudhou Thangjing Moirang Lai Haraoba which commenced from April 30, the ritual ofLai Lam Thokpa took place today at Moirang Chengei Lampak.

In keeping with tradition, the ritualistic procession of nine Umang Lai and 7 Lai Chanura began from Ibudhou Thangjing Laikolnung with the participation of local boys and girls dressed in traditional attire.

The Lai Lam Thokpa ritual was performed after the procession reached Moirang Chengei Lampak.

After the necessary rituals were performed, the 16 deities were escorted back to Ibudhou Thangjing Laikolnung.
