Imphal, October 19 2015:
Women Action for Development (WAD) conducted a one-day alliance building programme for the survivors of conflict, drugs, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, sexual assaults and street vendor with support from ECHO and Action Aid Association under the project titled, "Humanitarian support to the people affected by conflict in Manipur, Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh States of India" at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound today.
Prosecution Director Ng Tejkumar delivered a speech on the topic 'Access to justice and its implications' during the programme.
The programme was also attended by All Manipur Working Journalist Union president Wangkhemcha Shamjai, Dr Priyadarshni M Gangte, Associate Professor of Damdei Christian College, Lam Mataida Keithel Phambi Lup executive member Moirangthem Bina and social activist Jina Khumukcham.
