Imphal, May 14 2016 : The Cyber Crime Unit of Imphal West dis- trict police has arrested a staff of a courier service for allegedly stealing nine mobile phones.

The man has been identified as Thokchom Hemanta (41) s/o Mangi of Naoremthong Khumanthem Leikai.

He is a staff of Blue Dart courier service.

Hemanta allegedly stole nine Xiami mobile phones purchased by different cus- tomers through online shopping.

The mobile phones reached Imphal from Bengaluru via Kolkata through courier.

A Xiami handset has been recovered from Hemanta's possession so far while police are investigating to recover other handsets.
