Imphal, August 19:
To extend a helping hand to children whose civilian parents have been killed by terrorists, the Govt has earmarked three seats of MBBS out of the Central Pool for the North Eastern States for the year 2008-2009 .
In an official notification, the State Home Department said that the benefits will be available to children whose both parents have been killed by terrorists, children of families whose sole bread winner have been killed by terrorists and wards of victims with permanent disability and serious injury caused by terrorist activities.
