JNN announces recipients of biennial award

Jiribam, November 15 2024: The 2nd Kekrebam Sanaton Singh Memorial Best Journalist Award 2024 will be conferred upon RK Chandra Sana and Elangbam Ojitkumar alias Mushuk.

According to a press release issued by Jiri News Network, RK Chandra Sana is the Jiri correspondent at North East Window TV (NEw Tv) while Elangbam Ojitkumar is a staff reporter at Impact TV.

Due to the current volatile situation in Jiribam, the award distribution ceremony which was slated to be held on November 20 has been postponed tentatively.

The award comes with Rs 10,000 in cash, citation, shawl and memento.
