Imphal, May 11 2009: The Manipur Electricity Employees' Union (MEEU) expressed joy and felicitation to N Sharat on his being promoted to Chief Engineer of the state electricity department from being an additional chief engineer of the same department before.

The union anticipated welfare plans and developmental actions for the employees of the department from him being the new Chief Engineer stated MEEU in a press release.
