Imphal, May 11 2009: Most of the shops at Imphal Market selling Moreh items including Paona International Market were shut today in fearing that all the shops selling Moreh items will be seized by the Commissioner of Customs Department and his staffs from Shillong who was visiting the city today.

A report said that customs officials visiting the city seized costly goods from the shops in the past and the shops were shut today in contemplation of such incidents.
