Villagers express gratitude

Imphal, July 15 2009:
The villagers of Joujangtek village of Tamenglong district expressed gratitude with the progress achieved through implementation of NAIP (National Agricultural Innovation Project) taken up by Central Agricultural University (CAU), Iroisemba.
The village produced about 200 MT of potatoes worth more than Rs 20, 00, 000, garden pea of Rs 60, 000 and cabbage of Rs 20, 000 under NAIP.
Besides these, fishery and weaving are taking up in the village.
The villagers hoped that the village would become a developed village if the things go same way.
