Imphal, April 13 2023: Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (S) provided emergency medical assistance to a local who reported at COB Aina with injury sustained during routine work in the held, on Wednesday.

According to PRO IGAR (South), the injured person identified as Lalchung (46) of Lungchong village in Churachandpur district, was examined and provided required assistance and medicines by medical team at Aina under the initiative of 'WHAM' of Churachandpur Battalion.

The patient has been discharged after the basic medications, the PRO informed, adding that he (Lalchung) thanked Assam Rifles for the timely, lifesaving and valuable medical assistance.
