Imphal, July 21 2009:
The AMADA is beginning to keep a close watch on sports related departments, associations and federations under its 'Sports Development Mission' to make
sports a 'free zone'.
An AMADA release issued by its YAS deputy secretary, P Jiban Meetei urged all concerned to stop politicisation of sports in the state while also urging all concerned sports authority to stop making claims and counter-claims through the media.
It also asked concerned authority to refrain from corrupt practices and groupism in sports.
