Counselling & discussion on future avenues for empowerment of youth held

Imphal, July 22 2019: Moltuk Battalion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (S) launched a multi-series programme aimed at educational counselling and empowerment of youth through guidance on future avenues.

The programme was designed to support and equip the youth of the Chandel district with necessary guidance for opening up prospects of a better future away from the backwardness of the region, said a press release issued by IGAR (S).

The multi-series programme commenced with an educational counselling and youth empowerment session at Phaisenjang today.

The event emphasised on educational prospects for the youth of the villages and counselled them regarding numerous opportunities available to them including options for higher education.

The event witnessed participation of 68 enthusiastic youths including locals from Phaisenjang and nearby villages.
