AR seizes 419 gm of WY tablets

Imphal, August 02 2021: Troops of Tengnoupal Battalion seized 20 packets of WIY tablets which were concealed in the handbag of a female passenger on Monday.

According to PRO IGAR(S), the WIY tablets were detected inside a modified compartment of vehicle during routine checking at Khudengthabi Vehicle Check Post.

The recovered narcotics weighed 'about 419 grams and are assessed to be worth Rs 20 lakh, it said adding that the seized narcotics along with the vehicle and the drug traffickers have been handed over to Moreh Police for further investigation.
