Imphal, May 11 2009: In protest against the failure of the RIMS authority to consider its demands, nurses of the premier medical hospital who have been carrying out duties wearing black badges since May 4 have decided to go on an indefinite cease work strike with effect from May 12 .

The Trained Nurses' Association of India, RIMS Unit lamented that out of the 17-point charter of demands submitted, only one demand has been considered by the RIMS authority.
