Union Minister Ajay Tanita reviews key development projects in Pherzawl

The construction of a Mini Secretariat at Pherzawl would soon begin, announced Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Ajay Tamta today.
The MoS made the announcement when he visited the district on Wednesday.
During his vist, the MoS reviewed the progress of several ongoing development projects and welfare schemes.
The Minister inspected the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Parbung and interacted with healthcare staff and patients, assuring continued support to strengthen health services in the district.
The Minister chaired a District Level Officers' meeting attended by local MLA Ngursanglur Sanate and Deputy Commissioner Mannuamching.
The officials briefed him on connectivity challenges, infrastructure needs, and the district's economic profile.
Tamta urged the departments to expedite pending projects and announced that the construction of a Mini Secretariat in Pherzawl would be initiated soon.
Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for his commitment to the region, Tamta said the Government would focus on enhancing connectivity across all link roads in Pherzawl.
During the event, two beneficiaries received PM Vishwakarma Certificates, while 20 others were provided with plant nutrients.
The Minister later interacted with civil society representatives, listened to their concerns, and assured necessary assistance.
The Minister was accompanied by Nikhil Saraswat, PS to the Minister; MS Deval, Executive Director of NHIDCL; T Lalboi Haokip, Superintendent of Police; Joel G Haokip, Additional Deputy Commissioner; and other district officials.
