Mysuru man's walkathon reaches Imphal

Bearing the message of Yoga and environmental conservation, Krishna Nayaka's walkathon which kicked off from Mysuru, Karnataka on October 16, 2022 has reached Imphal.
Addressing the media at Manipur Press Club today, the Yoga and environment proponent urged people to recognize the benefits of Yoga and conserving the environment.
Krishna Nayaka informed that his walkathon began under the theme "Divided by countries, united by Yoga" from Mysuru and so far he has crossed 17 states and travelled over 11,000 kms.
Adding that he reached Manipur through Jiribam on February 24, 2024, he remarked that he has participated in various interaction programmes and meditations across different schools and colleges to educate the students about the advantages of Yoga.

Due to the current restive situation in the State, many advised him against taking his walkathon to Manipur.
However, upon reaching here, he was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and hospitality he received.
He added that Manipur is a place filled with generous and kind-hearted people.
Stating that he will leave Manipur for Nagaland after two days, he further informed that his walkathon will spread the message of Yoga and environmental conservation to the neighbouring countries of Bhutan and Nepal as well.
