Imphal, November 16 2024: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Manipur Pradesh has strongly condemned the killing of three of the six hostages abducted by armed persons, terming it as a cowardly act of terrorists.

In a press release issued by general secretary (administration) L Deben, BJP stated that there is no practice in the world to attack women and children during a conflict.

Abducting six women and children, and then killing one of the women and two children is the most cowardly terrorist act.

As such, the BJP state unit has raised the matter to the Central leaders, urging them to look into the matter in detail and award befitting punishment to the persons responsible.

The press release also urged the central forces to monitor the situation closely and protect the citizens accordingly.
