Thanksgiving Ceremony for TSA Diamond Jubilee Successful Celebration

Imphal, November 11 2017: The Thadou Students' Association, General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) today held its Thanksgiving Ceremony for the Successful Celebration of TSA Diamond Jubilee Celebration at Taloulong Village, Kangpokpi District, Manipur on 28th & 29th October, 2017 .

The simple ceremony was attended by Mrs Nemcha Kipgen, Hon'ble Minister (SW & Coop); Smt Chingsawmching Kilong, President, Thadou Women's Association, General Headquarters; Dr Lalkholen Singson, Speaker, Thadou Inpi, General Headquarters; Shri SL Kaikhosei, Hon'ble Executive Member, ADC-SH among many others, and Rev.Satkhothang Singson was the minister of the ceremony.

The Hon'ble Minister in her speech evoked to marching forward for the rapid development of the Thadou tribe in the state thereby leaving behind all indifferences within the tribe community.

She also rated TSA as the most dedicated and sincere civil society organisation in the state.

Meanwhile, Miss Kut, 2017 (Miss Esther Nengpilhing Haokip) who was also crowned Miss Thadou in 2016 was lauded and felicitated by TSA.

The Miss Kut in her speech appreciate the platform shown by Thadou community in 2016 as Hun "Thadou Cultural Festival" which became the stepping stone for her success and conveyed best wishes to the Thadou civil bodies especially TSA.

Ambulance Project of TSA was also launched by Rev Satkhothang Singson.

47 individuals pledged for TSA Ambulance Project and the pledged amount stretched to Rs.5.7 Lakhs on the 1st day of the launching of the project.

The project will be an achievement milestone within Christmas and we shall try our best to start delivering the Ambulance Service before Christmas as a Christmas gift to Thadou community in the state in particular and all other communities in the state.

Rev Satkhothang Singson prayed for the blessings of TSA and Miss Kut, 2017 (Miss Esther Nengpilhing Haokip) .

TSA handed a number of appreciation mementos to the untiring individuals who were behind the success of the Diamond Jubilee celebration.
