Imphal, July 21 2015 :
Government school teachers have appealed to the State Government to allow schools to resume normal classes at the earliest.
Stating the closure of educational institutions by the State Government has hampered the academic career of the students, Government teachers asserted that delaying the resumption of normal classes will result in excessive burden on both the teachers and students.
Yearly syllabus might not be covered due to time constraints.
Though the All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has decided to resume normal classes of all the private schools from July 23, the State Government is yet to determine the reopening of the Government schools.
Speaking exclusively to The Sangai Express, the Government teachers urged the State Government address the demands of the people, implement the Inner Line Permit and bring normalcy in the State.
