"Only BJP can topple UPA Govt"

Imphal, October 19 2013 : Terming both the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre as well as the Congress Government of Manipur as looters which are bogged down by multiple scams of corruption, BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman claimed that only BJP can topple the incumbent Government and bring a new administration after the parliamentary election.

She was speaking at the concluding session of the three day long State level political training camp held at the BJP State unit office of Nityaipat Chuthek today.

Nirmala Sitharaman said that BJP can gift a new governance after replacing the Congress Government provided BJP wins the parliamentary election.

Calling upon all BJP workers and supporters to launch election campaign collectively so that BJP can wrests both parliamentary seats of Manipur, Nirmala dismissed all the allegations made by Congress party against BJP including the one that the party is communal.

It is not BJP which is communal but Congress, she asserted.

BJP Manipur unit president Th Chaoba said that he decided not to contest Lok Sabha election so that he can work day and night for the two party candidates.

More such camps would be held for women and youth to train them on how to fight elections, Chaoba said.

Launching a broadside attack against Chief Minister O Ibobi, Chaoba said that Congress party is still unable to provide sufficient volume of potable water to people while the power situation is remains bleak as 10 years before.

Roads and highways are lying in deplorable while the health sector is a total failure even though the party is in power for more than a decade, Chaoba said.

In case, BJP comes back to power, the State would take over Loktak Project from NHPC.

Moreover, a four-lane highway would be constructed from Silchar to Imphal, he added.
