Imphal, February 29 2024: A one-day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) was organised at Mangolnganbi College, Ningthoukhong in Bishnupur district on Wednesday.

The programme held with College's Department of Economics head Kh Nolini Devi, Political Science head L Guni Devi and Botany head Asem Chanu Vellorpati as the presidium members was attended by teaching and non-teaching staff.

As the resource person of the programme, L Guni Devi briefed the first-time voters on the role of presiding officer of a polling booth in an election.

Ethical voting, EVM and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (WPAT) were the also discussed.

As part of the programme, a spot quiz contest was held and prizes along with certificate distributed to the winners and certificate of participation to the attendees.

Private registered troupe of CBC, RO, Imphal M/s MIREL of Uripok enthralled the audience with cultural performance.
