PCC, KSDO in MNCA U-14 boys' tourney final

Imphal, February 29 2024:
PCC (Mayai Koibi) and KSDO (Kiyamgei) set up title clash of the 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament, following their semifinal victories on Thursday.
PCC comfortably sealed their spot in the final with a 9-wicket win over SHADOW (Thangmeiband).
PCC limited SHADOW to 90/7 when the latter decided to bat.
Chinglemba Haobam (18) scored the most runs in their innings.
Leishangthem Nelson Singh picked up 2 wickets while Lucky Thokchom, Ro-jer Laishram and Pravin Kumar took one wicket apiece for PCC.
In their response, PCC relied on Lucky Thokchom (49 not out) and Pravin Kumar (28 not out) to complete the chase in 9.2 overs after opener Akshay Mahto Kumar was dismissed for 5 by James Sahu.
In the other semifinal, KSDO registered a 52-run victory against AKSDO (Khangabok) .
KSDO scored 135/9 in the stipulated 30 overs with Kh Firdos (66) leading the way in their innings, backed up by Mohammed Gunbas' 22 and Sangomsumpham Arish's 17.In the process, they lost 2 wickets each to Bidyananda Ningthoujam, Bidyasagar Khundrakpam, Chingamba Elangbam and Avinash Waikhom.
KSDO then needed 20.4 overs to stop AKSDO's run chase for 83.Md Shadik Israak Hussain led the scalping with 4 wickets, Mohammed Soheb impressed with 3 and Mohammed Abu Sufiyan chipped in with 2 in KSDO's win.
